Melanie D. Kokoros established MDK Design Associates Inc, in 2003. She attended Northeastern University with a BA in business and then studied design at the Boston Architectural Center. Melanie is a highly functional designer with a great sense of style and a passion for design.

She is known for being extremely creative and detail oriented, concentrating on each space as a blank canvas waiting to be brought to life.

Melanie creates spaces that are functional, beautiful and balanced. Her designs are intimate environments that are soothing, comfortable and inviting but yet timeless.

One of Melanie’s passions is traveling and studying art and architecture; this gives her inspiration and creativity that transcends into her design work.

Her signature designs are combining various textures and styles through colors, fabrics, finishes, patterns, and objects that create a space that is very dimensional and exquisite.

As much as Melanie loves designing, her dedication is meeting her clients’ needs by providing innovative design solutions that are tailored to each client individually.

Her company, MDK Design Assoc. provides full-service design, from pre-construction, to placement of the last decorative pillow.
